Jeff Farmer has a lifetime of experience in real estate development, construction industry, building codes enforcement, architectural design, and construction specifications. Jeff obtained his real estate license at 19 years old in 1984, then later became licensed as an Auctioneer in 1999. Jeff has both a Broker license and Principal Auctioneer license. As his experience in development, design, and construction deepened, Jeff has chosen to invest his varied disciplines and life experiences into a full-time profession as a commercial Realtor and auctioneer since 1999.
Having varied disciplines and experiences within the commercial real estate and development industry broadens and deepens the breadth of knowledge and experience Jeff Farmer brings to the table for every client. His background in sales, development, commercial tenant/owner relationships, industrial sales, medical related properties, hospitality, etc. has advanced his knowledge, capabilities and first-hand experience for clients across the country.
Jeff resides in Elizabethtown, KY, just south of Louisville with his life partner, Mindy. They have two cats and three dogs still at home. Jeff has four children (two sets of twins), three daughters and one son. Jeff has been very involved with his children’s extra-curricular activities, most recently with the band boosters at Elizabethtown High
School where all four Farmer kids have been very involved. Additionally, Jeff has served as District Chair for the Lincoln Trail Heritage Council of the Boy Scouts of America, as well as leadership positions with Troop 829 while his son was involved with scouting. Other community and civic involvement includes Rotary International, North Central Education Foundation (board of directors), Kentucky Employers Mutual Insurance – KEMI (board of directors), Supreme Court Judicial Nominating Commission (member), Elizabethtown/Hardin County Chamber of Commerce (member), and Leadership Elizabethtown Class of 2004-2005. Jeff has maintained involvement in numerous community service organizations and governmental appointments.
