Tranzon Driggers was appointed to conduct the court-ordered bankruptcy sale of 9 free-standing condominiums in varying stages of completion and 33± un-platted residential lots in River Cove Landings, a residential waterfront community in Crystal River, Florida. A 4.9± acre waterfront parcel outside of the community was also included in the sale. A multi-faceted marketing campaign was designed and yielded nearly 8,500 web views and 380 individual inquiries from prospects located in 33 states, Canada, United Kingdom, and Vietnam. A total of 25 bidders registered to participate in-person at the auction and 4 qualified to bid online simultaneously via a live internet connection. Competitive bidding by onsite and online bidders resulted in a final gross sale price more than 250% of pre-auction offers. The bankruptcy court subsequently approved the transactions and all properties were successfully closed after additional title issues were identified and solved.
