Online bidding begins this Friday for a 45.5-acre parcel in Warren County that is zoned for up to 50 single-family homes.
The opening bid is $100,000.
The property at 55 Nunn Ave. in Washington Borough will be auctioned through Tranzon Alderfer in partnership with Hurley Real Estate & Auctions.
Bidding opens at 1 p.m. Friday, April 3, and closes at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 9.
The land was part of a larger parcel, with a significant portion surrounding it now preserved, according to a Tranzon statement.
The remaining 45.5-acre piece is zoned for residential development.
Tranzon has prepared a detailed property information package that includes the settlement agreement and a survey “so buyers will know exactly what they are purchasing and what they can do with it,” auctioneer John Dobos said in an email.
The site is located minutes away from Interstate 78 and Route 31. Municipal water, sewer and other utilities are nearby.
Washington Borough has a settlement agreement in place that outlines the development potential.
Concept plans, the settlement agreement, due diligence materials, auction terms and contract information are available for review online at the Tranzon website.
Interested buyers can email auctioneer John Dobos at jdobos@tranzon.com or call 908-642-7984, ext. 101.
