After serving the past year as vice president, Timothy W. Mast officially took office as National Auctioneers Association president July 19 during the NAA International Auctioneers Conference and Show in Jacksonville, Florida.

Mast’s term is effective until the 2018 Conference and Show next July in New Orleans.

Mast, who resides in Selmer, Tennessee, is part of Tranzon Asset Advisors with 25 offices across the country including Elizabethtown. It works with individuals, estates, lenders and Realtors to sell real property at auction or by other accelerated means.

The Tranzon Asset Advisors’ team of auctioneers and brokers were in attendance at the conference to celebrate Mast’s ascendancy to the top position of the world’s largest organization representing auction professionals.

Mast, 40, CAI, AARE, is executive vice president at Tranzon Asset Advisors and a graduate of the World Wide College of Auctioneering. Previously, he has served as an NAA Ambassador for Tennessee and joined the NAA Board as a director in 2014. In 2013, he was inducted into the Tennessee Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame, the youngest person in its history to receive that honor.
