FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., March 1, 2018 /PRNewswire
/ -- Two of Tranzon's national auction specialists have been invited to speak on the benefits of the auction method at the Information Management Network's (IMN) 8th Annual Bank Special Assets & Credit Officers Forum in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on March 6.
David Bradshaw, President of Tranzon Driggers in Ocala, Florida, and Mike Carey, Senior Vice President of Sales for Tranzon Auction Properties in Portland, Maine, will speak on the expert panel "On the Auction Block," covering topics such as how to use the auction method to greatest advantage, the benefits of various techniques, and how to know when an asset is a good candidate.
"The auction method is a powerful, efficient, and profit-yielding tool at the disposal of financial institutions with a portfolio of real estate assets to turn into liquid capital," says Bradshaw, "so forums such as this are an important way to communicate and field questions about how they can use that to their advantage."
Each year, the IMN Forum brings together professionals from across various financial, asset management, and related industries on the local, regional, and international levels. The conference provides a platform for discussing the latest issues and trends, advancing professional development, and providing networking opportunities across a broad cross-section of market specialties. This year's conference on March 6-7 features diverse industry experts speaking on the most relevant issues to the financial sector's present and future.
Carey sees Tranzon's contribution to the conversation as one of those relevant issues.
"Real estate liquidation has changed dramatically, especially in the last five years, and will continue to do so," Carey explains. "Auction methodology and technology has changed in stride, at a much faster clip than other sales models. Because of this market agility, it's important to maintain the underpinnings of trust by keeping our financial partners informed, so that they can continually make the best decisions for their portfolios."
