Tranzon Asset Strategies is a full-service auction company providing real estate auction and accelerated marketing services, as well as liquidations of business and other financial assets for corporations, financial institutions, trustees, individuals, and estates. Tranzon Asset Strategies is part of the Tranzon, LLC network of experienced and highly respected auction companies located throughout the United States. Together, the member companies in Tranzon comprise one of the leading real estate auction companies in the nation, with more than 30 offices from coast to coast. The professionals working at Tranzon companies have conducted more than 10,000 auctions in 47 states and the District of Columbia, and have collectively sold more than $1.4 Billion in assets since the Company's formation.     Mike has been active in the auction and appraisal business throughout the west and southwest since 1973. He has managed the sale of real and personal property at auction, conducted on-site appraisals and provided full brokerage services to government agencies, individual investors and lenders in the disposition of real property and major business assets.

    In addition to a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of North Texas, Mike completed graduate studies in Real Estate Appraisal and Finance at Southern Methodist University and graduate courses in Environmental Issues in Real Estate. He is currently a licensed California real estate broker.

    In the field of auctions and appraisals, Mike is a graduate of the Certified Auctioneers Institute (C.A.I.), a designation program through the Auction Marketing Institute (A.M.I.). He also holds an Accredited Senior Appraiser Designation (A.S.A.) with the American Society of Appraisers. He is currently a licensed and bonded auctioneer in California, Texas and Florida.

  • Fiske (Tom) Hanley, III CCIM

    Hanley became a real estate auctioneer in 1988 and has worked continually at the craft. At Texas Auction Academy, he served as the instructor of real estate auctioneering and technology for six years. He's mentored, hired and trained some of his aspiring students.

    He's listed and auctioned over one-half billion dollars of real estate. His skills of serving clients include:

    • Eliminating the vast expenses that burden real estate sellers through prolonged ownership
    • Determining and executing the exact time that a real estate property will sell and close
    • Increasing the prices lenders obtain by creating competition on their foreclosures & problem loans
    • Enabling realtors and commercial brokers to quickly auction their listings
    • Aiding attorneys, private banks, estates, corporations, debtors, real estate investment trusts and farm credit banks.

    He was an original member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) auction committee which enhances a Realtor's ability to auction her listings. He also served on the National Auctioneers Association's Real Estate Council and has published several articles and continues to serve as a speaker on numerous panels on the subject of real estate auctions. He is currently on the membership committee of the Turnaround Management Association (Dallas/Fort Worth chapter). He's an alumnus of the University of Texas at Austin and TCU.

    Tiffeny holds a position as Vice President at Tranzon Asset Strategies, an auction marketing firm that specializes in real estate. With 20+ years of experience in the auction industry, Tiffeny's focus has been on the disposition of real and personal property through auction marketing, and she works closely with buyers and sellers of commercial and residential real estate. She has primary responsibility for coordination and production of all due diligence materials and marketing materials. She manages the day-to-day operations of Tranzon Asset Strategies, and is in charge of event coordination and project management.

    Lonny has been involved in the real estate and mortgage industry since 2001 and joined the Tranzon team in 2009. His main focus has been in the fields of residential & commercial real estate and represents Tranzon in the Sacramento area of Northern California. Lonny has been involved in hundreds of residential, commercial and capital asset sales, using both the traditional and auction methods of selling. Lonny is an account manager for government operations including the FDIC and is incredibly familiar with the communication & reporting needs between Tranzon and our government agency clients.

    Lonny has managed over 200 Government Agency contracts including the State of California Department of General Services, The City & County of San Francisco, Cal Trans and numerous utility and private sector fleets. He is a proven leader, having managed dozens of auction professionals in the attainment of contracts, auction set up, sale plans and marketing methods. Lonny’s client base includes government agencies, bankrupcy trustees, receivers, lending institutions and individual homeowners and sellers.

    Lonny is a graduate of the Nashville Auction School, and holds a California real estate license. He has also completed the three-year process of Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI) training and has been awarded the designation of CAI, which is held by less than 1,000 auctioneers worldwide. Lonny is a member of the National Auctioneers Association.

  • Peter Wessling

    Peter joined Tranzon in 2005 where his focus has been on the disposition of both business and real property assets through accelerated marketing. With a concentration primarily on commercial, Peter has been involved in the sale of real property from multiple asset classes, including office buildings, industrial and manufacturing facilities, multi-family complexes, shopping centers, development land, small retail service stations, and convenience stores. Peter works closely with banking, legal, and real estate communities throughout the US providing representation for sellers in need of expedient real estate disposition solutions that range from single properties holdings, to complex multiple property portfolios.

    Prior to working with Tranzon, Peter was a sales associate, and later the Director of Acquisitions with the San Diego firm, Transportation Property Company. Focused primarily on investment properties in the retail space, Peter was responsible for identifying, underwriting, coordination of due diligence, and feasibility assessment on respective commercial property assets throughout the US. Additionally, while at TPC, Peter was involved with the exclusive representation of Consolidated Freightways in its bankruptcy liquidation (real estate), Sold $397,000,000 of real estate assets (226 properties) in 28 months at 117% of appraised value (thereby finding the estate $61,000,000 of additional value due to the auction process that was employed).

    Peter received his BA from Colorado State University where he was captain of the ski team and led the team to the national championships in 2000. Peter also graduated from the World Wide College of Auctioneering in 2008.
