Orangeburg, NY, June 14, 2002 By order of the FDIC, all
furniture, computers and office equipment of Superior Federal Bank, FSB,
Hinsdale, Illinois and its Alliance Funding division, will be placed on the
auction block.
Tranzon was hired by the FDIC to auction the contents of Superior Bank offices
in California, Texas, Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania,
Florida, Georgia, Virginia and New York.
Interested purchasers may bid on items at each location or participate in a
live, real- time online auction. The auctions will take place on June 19 and
June 20 in Orangeburg, New York (located approximately 25 miles north of
Manhattan) and on July 23 from its Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois headquarters
(located approximately 20 miles west of Chicago). The on-line auctions will
take place simultaneously at www.bidspotter.com.
Buyers can take home one of the Bank’s many HP color laser printers or Herman
Miller Aeron chairs, to name just two of the items available. Corporate buyers
will find Cisco networking equipment, IBM servers, telephone equipment and
modular office workstations, among other great items for sale. The New York
facility’s contents to go to auction include a complete cafeteria and a
well-equipped fitness center.
