Auburn & Minot, ME – In the culmination of a month-long accelerated marketing campaign, Tranzon Auction Properties sold over $1.5 million dollars in real and personal property at auction on Monday.

The four properties involved included a large commercial building in Auburn formerly operating as a motor home retail center (along with related office and operating equipment), as well as three residential components in Auburn and nearby Minot.

Tranzon was well acquainted with the collateral, having first marketed it for auction in March of this year. A bankruptcy filing halted the initial campaign. So when Maine’s Bankruptcy Court ordered that the assets be sold at public auction, Tranzon Auction Properties was the natural choice to conduct the sale.

29 registered bidders participated in the public out-cry auction, some interested in the 10 equipment lots, and some with bigger dreams of owning one of Auburn’s premier commercial properties, or a residence in Minot with its own plane hangar and airstrip. Auctioneer Tom Saturley, who conducted the sales, said "the turnout today shows that in any economic climate, quality real estate attracts strong buyers."
